Our story
Our Story — DL Construction
DL Construction started with one man, a trowel, and a reputation he refused to risk. Twenty-five years ago, owner Danyil Levder's grandfather began taking on stucco, plaster, and painting work throughout the Flathead Valley. He had no marketing budget and no crew to hide behind — every job either brought the next one or ended the line. So he prepared surfaces properly, finished them carefully, cleaned up before he left, and told people the truth about what their walls needed. That is how the name got known from Kalispell to Bigfork.
Danyil grew up around that work — mixing material, sanding, watching an experienced hand pull a finish coat flat. Then he left to work in Europe for roughly seven years, where stucco, lime plaster, and mineral finishes are not a specialty item but ordinary construction, and where a wavy wall or a soft corner is simply not accepted. He came home with two decades of total hands-on experience and a much higher bar for what "finished" means.
Five years ago his grandfather handed him the company. Danyil kept everything that made it work — the honesty, the clean job sites, the direct phone number — and added the finishes the valley could not easily get: polished Venetian plaster, seamless micro cement showers and floors, hand-troweled stucco textures matched to an existing wall, full-height stone fireplaces laid out before a single piece is set.
Today DL Construction handles the entire finishing package for homeowners, builders, and commercial property owners across Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, Whitefish, and Columbia Falls. Danyil still walks every property himself, writes every proposal, approves every sample board, and returns for the final walkthrough. Two generations in, the promise has not changed: we do not leave a wall until it is right.
